The museum exhibit in the lobby is nice. My room appeared to be clean but was dark and in need of an update (walls were scuffed and there were exposed screws). The worst part was that there was quite a bit of street noise that was audible all night long. This hotel was far from a relaxing retreat from the city. Finally, the staff was pretty disengaged and not as professional as at other properties for the same price. Bottom line is that this is a budget hotel charging premium prices.

Perfect location for a city-weekend!

Francisco at the frontdesk was great and gave us a really nice start. Valet parking affordable and a nice feature. God walking distance to everything you want to visit in Chicago. Comfortable beds and really nice bathrooms, the AC was a bit loud tho and the streetnoices are a bit annoying!

As an art lover, I was instantly intrigued by the idea of a museum hotel when I researched for my solo trip, and so glad I decided to stay at 21c. The hotel was lovely and the staffs (Francisco at the front desk and Andy the bartender) were welcoming and friendly. Room was spacious. I highly recommend everyone to check out the hotel’s permanent collection. They acquire 2 Gottfried Helnwein!! The art pieces are displayed beautifully, I especially enjoyed going through rooms by rooms to look for more display.

This hotel was absolutely amazing hotel! It was very quiet , I spent most my time at the gym that had everything I needed. The room was great! Jose was an excellent host from beginning to end , & Francisco at the front desk helped accommodate with all my needs. These two alone hotel aside will bring me back to 21c on my next trip to Chicago

Great location and service. The team is very helpful and nice. Guestrooms are confortable with all you need during the stay, breakfast is fine and service is on point
